Port-Joinville is the island's main port, with ferry connections from Fromentine and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. The villa is an 11-minute walk from the harbour: you can arrive from the ferry on foot, without a car, and get around by bike throughout your stay. From the villa, set off to explore the Côte Sauvage (Wild Coast), the Vieux Château, the Plage des Vieilles, the Port de la Meule or the coastal paths.
